Summer Junior Lifeguard Program

3-Week Ocean Safety and Interpretation Program for Boys and Girls Age 7-16
 
The Crystal Cove Junior Lifeguard Program is a 3-week summer camp designed to provide a safe environment where participants can be instructed in a variety of skills pertaining to the lifeguarding profession, the marine environment, and coastal recreation. Instructors will introduce participants to basic CPR skills, basic first aid, basic rescue techniques, and lifeguarding procedures. We also include an interpretive component that provides information about the ocean habitats and local ecosystems.

Dates?

Session 1 is June 17th - July 5th

Session 2 is July 8th - July 25th

Session 3 is July 29th - August 15th

3 Weeks, Monday through Thursday

​

Times?

AM  Session: 8:30am - 12:00pm

PM Session: 1:00pm - 4:30pm

​

AM w/ Extended Day: 8:30am - 3:00pm

​

Where?

Reef Point, Crystal Cove State Park

Pick up and drop off will be in the Reef Point Parking lot.

Extended Day pick up will be at Lower Moro Parking Lot near the Moro Canyon Trailhead.
